The First Conference of the Spring Semester of the Humanities and Social Sciences Conference Series was held.

On the Fabruary, 24th, the first conference of the spring semestre was held with the speech titled "Turkish-Islamic Architecture of Today's Iran" by Hamidreza Sohrabiabad. In his speach, he mentioned the modern historiography of Iran and effect of this kind of historiography on the historical buildings of Turkish-Islamic architecture. He showed some examples of such buildings with their present and past situations.
Mr. Sohrabiabad was presented a plaquet by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Günşen, the dean of the faculty of letter.
